Ingredients
Method
In a chopper, combine mince meat (unwashed, otherwise the patty will shrink while frying), salt, b. pepper, paprika, mustard powder, oregano, thyme, ginger garlic paste, bread crumbs, cream (or substitute with milk), half egg and run the chopper until mixed properly. Make patties.
Take a grill pan and add oil. Fry the patties until well done. Toast the burger buns and spread butter lightly over them. Now start building the burger: On the burger bun, place lettuce, tomato rings, onion rings and cheese slices. Now add the patties and place jalapenos over them, along with a generous dollop of Thousand Island Sauce.
Serve with french fries.
* Homemade jalapeno peppers: Look for the biggest green chillies you can find and soak them in vinegar. Dry them in direct sunlight for 2 days and take them inside on the second evening. The chillies should have soaked up the vinegar and (almost) turned into jalapenos.
** Homemade Thousand Island Sauce: Combine mayonnaise ½ cup + 1tbsp of chilli sauce, chilli garlic sauce and ketchup each. Add parsley, a pinch of salt, paprika, 1 tbsp lemon juice. Mix well.
